Make yourself a priority

Oh hey there warrior!

People come to therapy for a variety of reasons, but mostly because life just has it’s own plans for us, often separate from what our plans are for life. From perfectionists, helpers, workaholics, mothers and everything in between; most individuals I see are looking for help in increasing happiness, finding confidence and positive self-esteem, and feeling more in control of their life.

You’re always running around to take care of everyone and everything else, at the expense of your own health and happiness. Therapy is the space where we get to embrace and focus on you. For some of my clients, this is the only dedicated hour in the week they get to themselves- and in case you needed a reminder, you are worth it.

Sessions are focused on self-reflection and creating direction for your unique goals. Our therapy relationship will be different from your relationships with friends and family, both past and present in that I won’t just listen and nod along. I come armed with knowledge and skills that can be adapted to your needs. I’ll support you, guide you, and offer alternative perspectives. I’ll celebrate your wins and help you challenge negative thinking or times when you sell yourself short. We are a team, each bringing our unique skills together to create a sustainable and successful change.

You are a warrior, I’m here to help you see it.
